This has been a troubling year for all of us. First we were confronted with a contagious virus that asked us to rapidly change all our everyday habits and ways of living. And then videos of horrible and disturbing incidents, forced us all to confront systems of inequity and unfairness that have survived too long. We’re in the midst of massive societal protests asking for real changes and a new way.
Alienation, loneliness, anxiety, fear, restlessness, sadness and anger are all natural reactions to the emotional whirlwind that has marked 2020 thus far. To move forward to a new normal--- to transform, and make sure we create change from our best selves---we need to take time to process our inner, emotional landscape.
This practice will include some posture practice, breathwork, and meditative techniques to help cope with anxiety and depression. Suitable for everyone.
